   The researches of the experts point out that Apriltsy is at the front line in Europe for the intensity of oxygen – together with the famous Czech resort Karlovi vari. Tubercular patients were treated here in the past. Now there are climatic conditions in Apriltsy Municipality for the treatment of the pulmonary ill children.



   Apriltsy offers many opportunities for hunting and fishing, horse- and walking-tourism, cycling, charming places for picnics and sun-bathing along the river bank.
   The ski-track in Ostrets is appropriate for the beginning skiers and for the advanced ones – the tracks by the Pleven Hut.

   Apriltsy attracts tourists since the beginning of the last century – manufacturers, lawyers, doctors, clerks, writers, painters from Pleven, Svishtov, Varna, Sofia settled in the cozy houses of the local people.
